LYNNE DONCASTER was born two weeks late and given a name that is easy to misspell and mis-hear; is so used to being called "Linda" or "Donna" or "Dawn" that she responds to those names without correction. Wanted to be Judy Garland when she was in preschool. Has memorized the entire script for "Goonies". Discovered performance art when she was in third grade, after reading a book about The Beatles, and reasoned that she had a better chance at being Yoko Ono than at being Linda McCartney. Did not enjoy high school. Studied at Massachusetts College of Art's Studio for Interrelated Media. Got good at spoken word and performed with the group Live Girls and was featured on two spoken word CDs. Graduated and was too afraid of being an artist to fight for it. Started taking improv in 2004 because her boss encouraged her to. Started performing with The Tribe in 2005, in Liquid Ditty, Jolly Farm Revue, Director's Laboratory, Damn Skippy, and Neutrino. Part of the team behind I'm the Rhoda. Joined Mosaic in 2006. Blogs at www.ameliorationnation.blogspot.com. Does not like bananas.
